Vohnell G. Beasley

Vohnell G. Beasley, 82, of 1718 Bluff Avenue, Owensboro, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at her residence. She was born December 10, 1924 to the late Samuel and Fronia Oldham Gossett in Muhlenberg County. She was retired from General Electric after 26 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Wayne Beasley, Jr. on April 2, 2007.

Survivors include four nephews, Jerry and John Martin, both of Owensboro, Ruben Earl and David Wayne Gossett of Florida; a great-nephew that she lived with, John Martin, II of Owensboro, several other great-nephews and great-nieces and several great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces.

Services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, at Glenn Funeral Home with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 PM Friday and after 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
