Virginia Small Millay

Virginia Small Millay, 73, of Owensboro went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, August 22, 2013. Virginia was born in Daviess County to the late Arthur and Frances (Bell) Small. She retired after 25 years with Kroger. Virginia was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, was an avid Lakers and UK fan, was devoted to her Catholic faith, and her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Rev. Arthur Lee Small Jr. and Donnie Small.

Surviving are her daughters, Donna (Kenny) Lawson, Sandra (David) Millay and Julie Millay all of Owensboro, grandchildren, Melissa and Jennifer Bennett, Kenny and Jeremy Lawson, Donnie and Cody Millay, Terry and Timmy Swanagan, and Jay Millay, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters, Rose (Gordon) Cobb of Owensboro, Frances Brookshire of Ventura, CA, brothers,
Charles (Gerri) Small and Dan (Elaine) Small of Owensboro, Bill Small of Illinois, and Ronnie Small of Bakersfield, CA.

Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes with Fr. Brad Whistle officiating, and entombment following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. with prayers at 5p.m. and after 10 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral and Crematory.
