Virginia Mae Conway

Virginia Mae Conway, 81, of 2815 Aldersgate Drive, Owensboro died Thursday, December 12, 2002 at her home. She was born in Ohio County on March 17, 1921 the daughter of William and Anna Wolfe Herrell. Her husband, Marvin Earl Conway, preceded her in death on December 3, 1998. A son, Charles H. Conway, also preceded her in death on February 10, 1962.

Mrs. Conway was a homemaker and a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She loved traveling, bowling, cooking and taking care of her dog, Little Jenny.

She is survived by four sons, Ernest E. Conway, Wilbur Conway and Marvin Conway, all of Owensboro and Larry Conway of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Charlotte Conway Kamuf of Owensboro; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Herrell of Masonville; one nephew and five nieces.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2002 at First Church of the Nazarene, officiated by Reverend Mike Bowers. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2002 and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
