Virginia Dillman Coffey

Virginia Dillman Coffey, 90, of 2280 Maplebrook Court, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2005, at home. Mrs. Coffey was born in Van Buren, IN, to the late Fred B. and Norma Leah Doyle Dillman, was a member of Masonville United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the United Methodist Women.

Mrs. Coffey is survived by her husband of 70 years, Sherman H. Coffey; a son, Darryl L. Coffey of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Donna and CA Maurer of Owensboro and Gay and Ben Spicer of Owensboro; 8 grandchildren, Kathryn Raymer, Leah Gaye Houghton, Lynette Clough, Sgt. Glenn P. Coffey, Natalie Powell, Kevin Spicer, Keith Spicer and Ben Spicer II; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-greatgrandchild.

Services will be on Friday, November 18, at 11:30 a.m. in the Glenn Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday and after 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Masonville United Methodist Church or Hospice.
