Virgil Lee Duncan

Virgil Lee Duncan, Jr., 76, of 4037 Fogle Dr., Owenbsoro, died Saturday, March 23, 2002 at his residence. The Henderson County native was retired from W.R. Grace Company where he was a Supervisor for 30 years. He was a member of Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church, the Odd Fellows for 50 years in Henderson, AARP, and TPA. He attended Evansville College in the Chemistry Department, was interested in baseball and politics; received the industrial safety award--5 years without a lost time accident; and was very devoted to his family and career.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil Lee Duncan, Sr. and Mary Cleveland Duncan.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Barbara Duncan; a daughter, Janna Lea DeMarsh of Crescent Springs, KY; two grandchildren; and a brother, Owen Duncan of Smith Mills, KY.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Mater DOlorosa Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Monday and after 8:30 A.M. on Tuesday.
