Virgie Kellems

Virgie Kellems, 82, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 in at the Georgetown Community Hospital. Born in Owensboro, she was the daughter of the late William and Virgie Young Speaks; was retired from General Electric; and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Kellems lived in Owensboro for 75 years before moving to Georgetown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Kellems, and a son, Louis Kellems.

Surviving are her children, Richard Kellems of West Palm Beach, Fl and Sharon Kellems of Georgetown, KY; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services are private with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
