Virgie M. Keiser, 92, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Owensboro Place Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Dixon, Ky. She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to raising and caring for her children and grandchildren.
Surviving is a son, Bill Keiser of Philpot, a daughter Scarlett Pointer and husband James of Owensboro, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, a brother, Tom Owens of Henderson, and three sisters, Della Fitzgerald, Goldie Therrell, and Emma Payne, all of Louisville.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 26 at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in the Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
