Violet Liz Voll, 93, of 5058 Back Square Drive, Owensboro, died Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at her residence. She was born July 5, 1914 to the late George and Clara Bernhardt Voll in Canton, Ohio. She worked at Timken Corporation for 48 years, was a member of the Church of Christ in Canton and enjoyed reading and baking cookies and pies.
She was preceded in death by thirteen brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sister, Shirley Hummel and her husband, Jim of Owensboro; three nephews, Dirk Hummel and his wife, Yvonne, Tim Voll and his wife, Laura and Niles Baab; two nieces, Holly Wahl and her husband, Scott and Kathy Morris and her husband, Ralph; five great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Services will be 1:00 PM Monday at Glenn Funeral Home with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of your choice.
