Vincent L. "Vinnie" Morris, Jr.

Vincent L. “Vinnie” Morris, Jr., 60, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born in Topeka, Kansas to Vincent L. Morris, Sr. and Brenda C. Marksberry Morris. 

 Vinnie was a 1982 graduate of Daviess County High School. He earned an associate’s degree at ITT Technical College before becoming employed at Texas Gas, where he worked in engineering. 

 Vinnie thoroughly enjoyed drag racing and MOPAR. He was especially proud of his customized, Hemi- powered Dodge Durango. He was an avid Louisville Cardinals fan; and enjoyed bowling, rock-n-roll music and TV shows, especially Yellowstone and Tombstone. 

 He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda C. Morris in November of 2024.

 Vinnie is survived by his father, Vincent L. Morris, Sr.; a sister, Tanya Morris (William Allen) of Bowling Green; brother, Todd Morris of Owensboro; nephews, Weston Allen (Taylor), Jared Morris (Hali), Jacob Morris (Meagan) and Brandon Cox (Jessica); and great-nieces and nephew, Eva, Alice Mae, Robert “Bobby” and Aubree Morris.

 The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, February 4, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. The burial will be at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
