Victor Hempfling, 72, of Chandler, In., passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2007, at his home. He was born in Perry Co., Indiana to the late Andrew and Edith Hempfling and was retired after over 30 years with the Whirlpool Corp. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War and loved fishing and rabbit hunting with his beagles. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Hempfling Jessup in 2003.
Surviving are two sons, Ricky Hempfling and wife Katy and Edward Anthony "Eddie" Hempfling, all of Owensboro, two grandchildren, Shawna Gail Hempfling and Misty Hutchins, two great grandchildren, Zachary "Bear" Hutchins and RayAnna Hutchins, three sisters, Mary Herrmann, Elanor Stout, and Rosalee Goffinet, all of Tell City, In., and several nieces and nephews including Steven L. Williams of Chandler.
Private services will be held.
