Vickie Ellen Huskisson

Vickie Ellen Huskisson, 57, of Owensboro, passed peacefully with her family by her side on August 14, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on April 16, 1959 in Daviess County to Eugene and Joyce Knight. Vickie graduated from Owensboro High School in 1977, was a member of Christ Community Church, a member of the United Steel Worker Union and had retired from Aleris after 34 years of service. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Se was preceded in death by her grandmother, Reni Spinks.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, John Huskisson; children, JJ Huskisson and his wife Sherri and Jackie Owens and her husband Mark; grandchildren, Lexi, Logan, Layton, Riliegh, Kennedi, and Emma-Kate; siblings, Linda Knight, William Knight (Tiffany), David Knight and James Knight; and a host of relatives and close friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 2 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday and after 9 am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Kosair Children's Hospital.
