Vicki Lynn Henry

Vicki Lynn Mitchell Henry, lovingly known to everyone as “Bippi,” age 71, of Reynolds Station, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday May 27, 2026.

Vicki was born on December 18, 1954, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to James “Toby” Mitchell and Maggie Allison. She spent her life loving people deeply and making everyone around her feel special.

For 48 beautiful years, she was the devoted wife of Steve Richard Henry. Together they built a family centered around love, faith, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.

Above all else, Bippi loved her family. Nothing brought her more joy than her children, grandchildren, and the many people she claimed as her own. She was happiest when she was giving to others. Gift giving was her love language and favorite pastime, and she never missed an opportunity to make someone feel remembered and cherished. She loved the color pink, adored anything Barbie, and brought light and personality everywhere she went.

Vicki was preceded in death by her beloved son, Steve Richard Henry II, in 2012; and her precious grandchildren, Lincoln Freeman Henry in 2010, Ireland Claire Henry, John-Ross Christopher Henry, and Ivyleigh Sailor Henry in 2018.

She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Richard Henry; her daughter, Fawn Lynn Henry, her husband, Daniel Eugene, and their son, Marshall Richard; her son, John Derek Henry, his wife, Rachel Jillian, and their children, Axel Derek, Devin Mitchell, and Lainey Lynn; and her daughter, Mattie Jean Jenkins, her husband, Alan McKinley, and their daughters, Bella Lynn, Kinley Raye, and Maggie Jean.

She is also survived by countless friends, church family members, and children who lovingly called her “Bippi.” Though the name began with her own grandchildren, it quickly became what everyone knew her as. At Pleasant View Baptist Church, she was like a grandmother to every child who walked through the doors. Her love was big enough for everyone. She always kept bags of candy ready for the children at church, and the kids knew they could count on Bippi for a sweet treat, a warm hug, and a smile that made them feel loved.

Bippi will always be remembered for her generous heart, her quirky personality, her fierce love for people, and her willingness to help anyone in need. She never met a stranger and never held back what was on her mind. Her family lovingly joked that she had no “filter” and was liable to say anything at any time — one of the many things that made her unforgettable.

Though our hearts are broken and she will be missed more than words can express, we find comfort in knowing she is now with the Lord and reunited with her son and grandchildren she longed so deeply to see again.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, May 30, at Pleasant View Baptist Church in McQuady, KY in Breckinridge County. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday at Pleasant View Baptist.
