Vevoleen Joslin Mcdaniel

Vevoleen Joslin McDaniel, 92, of Roosevelt House II, Owensboro, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Bon Harbor Nursing Home. She was born in Murray, Kentucky to the late Asa and Louella (Gill) Joslin. She was a homemaker, and one of the oldest living members of Owensboro Church of Christ.

Her husband, Johnnie Ray McDaniel preceded her in death in 1994, as well as four brothers and a sister.

Surviving are her children; Larry (Sherri) McDaniel and Doris (Bob) Slaven of Owensboro, and Pat (Darrel) Ponsford of Summerfield, FL., grandchildren; Ryan (Ashley) McDaniel of Owensboro, Clay (Emi) McDaniel of New York, NY., Owen Ponsford of Seattle, WA., and Jennifer Mosley of Bowling Green, KY., a sister in law; Sue Burton Joslin of Owensboro, five great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Jimmy Bunch officiating. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Friday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice Association Inc. Memorial Fund.
