Vernon Douglas Rhineburger

August 28, 1920 — October 7, 2001

Vernon Douglas Rhineburger, 81, of 730 Pennbrooke Ave, Apt 15, Owensboro, died Sunday, October 7 at his home. The Owensboro native was a retired farmer. He was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vera Dean Sapp Rhineburger; six sons, William Carroll Ezell, David D. Rhineburger, Jerry Rhineburger, Terry Rhineburger, and Roger Rhineburger all of Owensboro, and Larry Rhineburger of Chicago; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sarah Grego of Arizona and Dorothy Gootee of Stanley.

Services are Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at 2:30 P.M. at the Christ Chapel, Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Glenn Funeral Home from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. on Tuesday.
