Velda L. Baker

Velda L. Baker of 2306 Whirlaway Dr., Owensboro, passed away on Friday February 2, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Muhlenburg Co., Ky. to the late Edgar Lee & Genevieve McGuyer Warner. She was a member of the River City Church. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Regina Sue Johnson in 1981 and a sister, Elizabeth Beaver in 1994.

Surviving are five daughters and husbands, Pamela & Terry Jones of Owensboro, Kim & Jeff Koykar of Maryville, Tn., Sandy & Ron Harris of Philpot, Trenda Dant Richey of Owensboro, and Cindy & Tim OBryan of Owensboro, a brother and wife, Richard & Gloria Warner of Reynolds Station, three sisters and husbands, Patricia Ann & Woodrow Stiltner of Waynesville, Ky., Judith Stewart of Minooka, Ill., and Regina & Robert Craft of Joliet, Ill., 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and her boy Harley.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 4, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Miller Cemetery in Cleaton, Ky. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday and after Noon Sunday at the funeral home.
