Vaden Evelyn Alford

Evelyn Alford, 93, of Owensboro died Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Leisure Years Nursing Home. Born in Daviess County on March 25, 1912, Ms. Alford was the daughter of the late John Alford and Eva Whittaker Alford. She worked for many years as a waitress at Gabes and was a member of Third Baptist Church.
She is survived by two nieces, Beverly Trunnell of Owensboro and Dorothy Anderson of Savannah, GA and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services are 1 P.M. Monday, February 28, 2005 at Peace Chapel, Rosehill Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Glenn Funeral Home id handling arrangements.
