Trudye Y. Windle

Trudye Y. Windle of Owensboro, formerly of Ravenswood, WV, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Beckley, West Virginia the daughter of the late James and Gertrude Young Windle, Jr.

She was retired from Kaiser Aluminum, was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and its prayer ministry and had been a member of Ravenswood, West Virginia Planning Commission. She was active in Ravenswood River Festival, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Easter Seal Society, and volunteered at Jackson General Hospital.

Survivors include two brothers, Mel Windle and Jim Windle, both of Owensboro, two aunts, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday July 13, 2001 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church, officiated by Father Freddie Byrd. Her family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday July 12, 2001.
