Troy Douglas Rickman, 39 of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. He was born February 14, 1978 in McCracken County, KY. Troy was a Physical Therapy Assistant, had received an associate of arts degree from Shawnee Community College in Illinois, and a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. He loved playing basketball, running, was an avid sportsman, and spending time with his family, especially his sons. He also was a fan of New England Patriots football.
Surviving are his wife, Jenny Harvey Rickman, sons, Ethan Troy Rickman and Noah Charles Rickman, both of Owensboro, his parents, Charles and Margaret Rickman of Metropolis, IL, sisters, Tanya (Cory) Shannon of Metropolis, Joy (Jason) Fisher of Metropolis, and Kim (Bruce) McGhee of Hendersonville, TN, brothers, Donald Rickman of Taylorville, IL, Jim Rickman of Springfield, IL, and Michael (Delynn) Williams of Gainesville, GA, his father and mother in-law, Dr. Mark and Ellen Harvey of Elizabethtown, and several nieces and nephews and two great nieces, and very close friends, Jeremy Tanner and Rob Fickert.
Services will be Noon Tuesday (C.S.T.), September 26, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. (C.S.T.) Monday and 10:00-12:00 P.M. (C.S.T.) Tuesday at the funeral home.
