Treacy M. Huckleberry, 96, of 631 W. Highland Ave., Owensboro, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, at Leisure Years Nursing Home in Owensboro. The Daviess County native retired from General Electric after more than 30 years of service. She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church and the Class of Ruth and enjoyed flower gardening.
Survivors include a son, James L. Huckleberry of Owensboro; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two nephews; and a niece.
Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 8:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Global Outreach International-Haiti Missions.
