Joseph Anthony Tony Williford, 50, of Owensboro passed away Friday, January 12, 2007 at his home. Born November 18, 1956 in El Paso, TX, Mr. Williford was a heavy equipment operator; member of the Southside Wesleyan Church; loved working on cars and lawn mowers; enjoyed riding Harleys, watching football; but most of all loved mentoring, playing with his grandchildren, and spending time with his church family. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Williford.
Mr. Williford is survived by his wife and best friend for more than 14 years, Terry Lynn Dick Williford; daughters, Amy (and Steve) Lehman and Ashley (and Leon) Clark of Owensboro, and Teah Croft of Princeton ; grandchildren, Shelby Pritchett, Austin Clark, and Jacob Clark; his mother, Wanda Butler of Murray; sisters, Barbara Avent of Memphis, TN and Marsha Bucy of Murray; and his faithful canine companion Ed Harley.
Services are 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home with Pastor John Fowler officiating followed by burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Monday and after 10 A.M. on Tuesday.
