Tony J. Everly

Tony J. Everly, 49, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026 at his home. He was born in Owensboro to the late Jerry W. Everly and Doris Wink Everly and raised in the Catholic faith.

Tony owned and operated Cutting Edge Lawn and Landscaping, LLC. for 29 years.

He and his wife Angela had many good times listening to music, going to concerts, camping, working puzzles and completing complex Lego projects together. They were also members of Daviess County Fish and Game. Tony enjoyed dogs, especially his beloved chihuahuas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Nies; and brothers, Mark and Eddie Everly.

Tony is survived by his wife of 16 years, Angela Payton Everly; a sister, Lisa Brode (Troy); brother, James Everly (Teresa); a niece, Soni Everly and her family; nephews, Wayne Maglinger and his family, Stephen Everly, Nick Nies and Sam Brode; several great nieces and nephews; his much-appreciated mother-in-law, Brenda Payton; and other dear family members of his wife, Angela.

The service will be at 4:00 PM, Sunday, August 16 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:30 PM.
