Tony Blandford

Tony Blandford, 52, of 2807 Hillside Dr., Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2005 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Joseph Kenneth & Joyce Cundiff Blandford. He was employed at Commonwealth Aluminum Co. as a computer technician. He was of the Catholic faith, had attended the Family Worship Center for a number of years and currently had been attending Owensboro Christian Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar, drawing, artwork, U. K. basketball, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He was a graduate of the Father Judge Mission Seminary in Virginia and also attended Brescia College. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Joseph H. Conrad, Jr. on April 5, 1991.

Surviving is his wife of 29 years, Peggy Conrad Blandford, a son, Kevin Blandford, and two daughters, Kim & Megan Blandford, all at home, five brothers, Rodney Blandford of Reo, In., and Kenny, Jeff, John, and Scott Blandford, all of Owensboro, three sisters, Paula Bennett, Janet Evans, and Tracey Rager, all of Owensboro, his mother-in-law and her husband, Mary Conrad & Bob Head of Owensboro, and his brother-in-law and his wife, Roger & Joan Conrad of Chicago, Il., many other close friends including David Docimo of Owensboro, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00-8:00 P.M. Monday with prayers at 6:00 P.M. and after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
