Tim Shaffer, 41, of Owensboro, passed away January 30, 2016. He was born March 27, 1974 in The Dalles, Oregon to Thomas R. and Patricia Grimm Shaffer. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and was excellent with his hands especially woodworking and carpentry.
Mr. Shaffer is survived by his sons, Aaron and Hunter Shaffer both of Owensboro; father, Thomas R. Shaffer Sr.; mother Donna Coats Shaffer; brother, T.J. Shaffer; sisters, Lora Shaffer of Owensboro and Kim Lawrence of Yakima, Washington; several nieces and nephews.
The service will be Friday, February 5 at 2:00 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Andrew Edwards officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM. Final arrangements will be private.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the family of Tim Shaffer, c/o Tom Shaffer, Sr.
