Tiffany S. Wahler Trejo

Tiffany S. Wahler Trejo, 45, of Owensboro, peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on January 23, 2024, surrounded by her family at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. As she embarks on her spiritual journey, she can now "Fly Free Like a Hummingbird."

A wizard with a wreath and a spatula, Tiffany's crafts and cooking had a touch of magic, her spaghetti having achieved almost mythical status and her wreaths gracing many doors. Her home was a hub of laughter, off-key sing-alongs, and relaxed vibes, with her daughters at the center of it all—part family, part best friends, and total co-conspirators in fun. She had a passion for all things caffeinated, particularly Mountain Dew and Monster Energy drinks, often enjoyed with the quirky addition of a pickle on the side. Tiffany was the rock, the glue, and occasionally the firecracker of her family, embodying loyalty and dependability with a dash of spontaneity. Tiffany remained steadfast in her faith as a devoted member of Redemption Place Church. In her leisure moments, she found joy in indulging in a game of bingo.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry E. and Doris R. Wahler; and stepfathers, Robert Martin Sr. and Lewis E. Legg.

Those who will cherish her memory include her daughters Juliana and Alisia Trejo; mother, Gina Martin-Legg; siblings, Kathleen Hogg (David), Alonzo McRath, Angela Martin, Michael Drake, Chad Drake, Dominic Martin, Robert Martin Jr. (Amy), Starr Martin, and Nicholas Martin (Jonnia); best friends, Crystal Sowders and Kristie Layson, and a whole host of loving nieces and nephews.

Join us in honoring her life with a celebration scheduled for Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 4 pm, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation period from 1 pm until 4 pm.
