Thurlow Miller Brown

Thurlow Toolie Brown, 86 of Owensboro passed away Monday, August 21, 2006 at the Muhlenburg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born June 1, 1920 in Edmondson County, she was the daughter of the late Elija and Brilla Haynes Miller and a member of the Pleasant Point Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert W. Brown in 1986; brothers, Woodrow Miller, Herman Miller and Eshmal Miller; and sisters, Beatrice Anderson and Virgie Sadler.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Kandi Brown of Greenville; daughter, Patsy B. and Bill Payne of Owensboro; grandchildren, Trishia L. Gaddis, Niki Shadowen and Robin Heltsley ; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Elza Chick Miller of Owensboro and a sister, Lela Dramlett of Michigan.

Services will be held at Christ Chapel, Owensboro Memorial Gardens on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with burial following in the Field of Honor. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. at Glenn Funeral Home.
