Thomas Moseley Stuart

Thomas Moseley Stuart, 87, of Owensboro, KY passed peacefully to his
heavenly home Friday, Jan. 24th, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

He was a long time dairy and beef cattle farmer. He was proud of his
family, his family heritage, and the farm that he lived on that has been
in the family for over 200 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. Stuart, Sr. and Ruth
Moseley Stuart, and two older brothers, Robert M. Stuart, Jr. and James
W. Stuart.

He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 67 years, Nancy
Keown Stuart, a younger brother, Alexander Stuart of Phoenix, AZ; three
sons, Dr. T. Clay Stuart (Harriet) Danville, KY, George Stuart (Carolyn) Maceo, KY and
William M. Stuart (Freida) Kingsport, TN; four grandsons, Mark
Stuart (Laura) Lexington, KY, Drew Stuart (Kristin) Brooklyn, NY, Matt Stuart (Kristen)
Knoxville, TN, Stephen Stuart (Megan) Lexington, KY, and two
granddaughters, Cheri Stuart, Owensboro, KY
and Allison Pauly, Louisville, KY; three great grandchildren, Jacob
and Shelby Stuart, Lexington, KY and Harrison Stuart, Brooklyn, NY, and
numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 29 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Dr. James Wedding will officiate. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Tuesday and after 9 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yellow Creek Baptist Church Food Pantry.
