Thomas H. Shelton

Thomas H. Shelton, 70, of Owensboro, died, Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. Mr. Shelton was the former owner of Sheltons Camper Sales. He was a member of Dawson Baptist Church, and enjoyed woodworking and working with his hands. He was a former member of Owensboro Hillbilly Camping Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, and eight brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Virginia D. Shelton, two daughters, Donna Morgan of Virginia, and Karen Shelton of Owensboro, a stepson, Marvin L. Ellison of Dallas Texas, a stepdaughter, Connie Thomason of Guthrie, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Melanie, Ryan, Jason, Melissa, and step-grandchildren, Lana C. Murray, Leah Bess Murray, and Cheryl Ann Ellison, four great grandchildren, a sister, Mittie Mango of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and after10 a.m. Friday. Memorial Contributions may be made to Dawson Baptist Church.
