Thomas G. Ruxer, 61, of Owensboro, died March 4, 2015 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born May 25, 1953 to the late Everett and Freddia Miller Ruxer. Tom was in the Navy, Airforce, and Army. He worked for Warner Enterprise as a truck driver, in which he achieved the million mile club for driving safely. Tom enjoyed spending time with his lovely wife Carol, daughter, and grandkids. In Tom's spare time he played computer games and played with his baby dog Ginger.
Tom was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Lebold.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years Carol Ruxer; children, Jennifer Lange of Abilene, TX, Chris Ruxer of Chula Vista, CA, and Jamie Ruxer of Chula Vista, CA; grandchildren, Brent Lange, Brittany Lange, William Lange all of Abilene, TX; sister, Karen Buddie of Evansville; brother, Tim Ruxer of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews; great-niece, Calista Bolmer; and a very close friend of the family, Bert Nunez.
Service will be 2pm Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service on Saturday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the family in c/o Carol Ruxer.
