Thomas Richard Roberts

Thomas "Rick" Richard Roberts Jr., age 56, of Philpot passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born on January 11, 1956 in Daviess Co., Kentucky to Thomas Richard Roberts Sr. and Colleen Roberts Remole.

He is preceded in death by his father; Thomas Richard Roberts Sr. who passed away in 1974, and his step-father, Earl Remole who passed away in 2009.

Rick was the owner of Roberts Truck and Trailer Repair Inc. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed the outdoors, and was a devoted man of God. He was a caring husband and father who made his family his top priority. Rick was known for his laughter and generosity. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Left behind to mourn the passing of Rick is his beloved wife of 25 years; Bonnie Nelson Roberts, his mother; Colleen Roberts Remole, and 10, yes 10,loving children , one of which was his favorite who shall remain nameless; Eric Matthew Ross ( Amy) of Owensboro, Charity Ross Morgan ( Richard) of Atlanta GA, Misty Rashelle Payne ( Scotty) of Beach Grove., Joseph Adam Ross ( Jamie) stationed in Dover, DE, Thomas Richard Roberts III ( Karina) of Richmond KY, Christopher Ryan Roberts ( Sherree) of Owensboro, Joanna Natasha Hope Roberts Noble ( Jay) of Williamsburg, VA, Jacob Ross Roberts ( Darcella) of Monticello, KY, Rebecca Lou Roberts ( Jay) of Owensboro, and Jordan Taylor Roberts of Owensboro, 5 siblings; Mark Anthony Roberts, Timothy Renzie Roberts, Joy Colleen Bowlds , Ron William Roberts, and William Wesley Roberts all of Owensboro. Rick also leaves behind 24 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Good Shepherd Church with Reverend John Morse officiating services. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3:00 until 8:00PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and after 12:00PM at the church on Wednesday.
