Thomas Scott Roberts

Thomas "Scott" Roberts, 57, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at his home. He was born on January 14, 1957 in Daviess Co., to the late Thomas Hampton and Dorothy Nell Marksberry Roberts. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and had retired from Commonwealth Aluminum Co. Scott had many things he enjoyed doing, including going to the farm and his love for old tractors. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, his wolf dogs Wolfie and Fred, gardening, going to auctions and collecting things.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Cathy Roberts, his son, Jonathan Roberts and wife Jennifer of Philpot, his daughter, Misty Roberts and fianc Derek Gatewood of Owensboro, six grandchildren, Gracie and Baylie Mitchell, Stella Roberts, Presley Roberts, Knox Thomas Scott Roberts, and Austin Gatewood, his brother, Danny Ray Roberts and wife Joanne of Buck Creek, his sister, Debbie Kay Martin and husband Scott of Philpot, nieces and nephews, Shane Martin, Brooke (Jeremy) Knott, Dallas (Jennifer) Roberts, Danielle (Cody) Allen, James (Angie) Riggs, and Taylor Scott, and several great nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 30, at the Providence United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and from 11:00-1:30 P.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
