Thomas Ray Maglinger, Jr., 59, of 3932 Buckland Square, Owensboro, died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born February 21, 1946 to the late Thomas R. and Rose Frey Maglinger, Sr. in Daviess County. He was a tool and die maker with Kentron, was a member of the Baptist Faith, and served in the Army Reserves during the Viet-Nam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, camping cooking bar-be-cue and listening to country music. He liked to paint, watch John Wayne movies and ride motorcycles. Anything outdoors he enjoyed doing.
He was preceded in death by one son, Darrin Maglinger and one sister, Connie Bickwermert.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Margie; two sons, Brian and Corey Maglinger, both of Owensboro; one daughter, Jennifer Krauss of Louisville; two brothers, Tracy Maglinger of Maceo, and Mike Maglinger of Livermore.
Services will be 6:00 PM Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, P.O. Box 1075, Owensboro, KY, 42302.
