Thomas J. Lewis, 69, of Owensboro, KY passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at his home. Born October 29, 1944 in Little River Township, Horry County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Henry Clifton Lewis, Sr. and Geneva Jones Lewis. A United Methodist Minister, he served as an Associate Minister of Christian Educations and Program at the Bennettsville United Methodist Church in Bennettsville, SC and Vineville United Methodist Church in Macon, GA and Christ United Methodist Church in Warner Robbins, GA. He was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Cleople Franks, Isabelle Wright, Deltic Franks, Charles Lewis, and H.C. Lewis, Jr.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his children, Aubrey Bishop and her husband Cameron and Jon Lewis and his wife Rachel; his grandchildren, Aubrey and Mallory Bishop; lifelong friend, Rev. Ron Preuss; his former wife, Marian Elliot Lewis; his brother, Wallace Lewis.
