Thomas A. Hartmann, 59, of 2440 Griffith Avenue, Owensboro, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at his home. The Reading, PA native retired as manager of the Red Spot and Indurall paint stores in Owensboro. He was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral and a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College. His interests included boating, fishing, and restoring old cars.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Joan Hartmann, his daughter, Robyn Weil of Austin, Texas, and his mother, Evelyn Hartmann of Owensboro.
Services are 4 PM Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with prayers at 6 p.m., and from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hospice Association, 725 Harvard Drive, Owensboro, KY 42301.
