Thomas Wayne "Tommy" Hall, 55, of Maceo, passed on to a better life on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky., He was born January 11, 1955 to Wallace Hall and Clara Wilhoyte Hall. Thomas had worked at General Electric, Green Coal, N.S.A and Otis Craig & Sons Farms. He was presently a custodian at Burns Middle School, a member of Maceo Baptist Church, and enjoyed farming, gardening, boating, playing cards, and helping people in the community. He always said that he wanted to be a friend and neighbor to everyone. He is survived by his wife, Margo Gumbel Hall, 2 sons, Wayne Hall of Lewisport, and Brandon (Natali) Hall of Knottsville,, grandchildren, Brittany, Lukas, Kegan and Tinley Hall, his mother, Clara Hall, a brother Steve ( Susan) Hall, a sister Suzette (Pat) Wimsatt, 3 nephews, 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Hall.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Scott Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Thursday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Maceo Baptist Church or to Kelly Cemetery Fund.
