Thomas Edward Hale

Thomas Edward Hale, 56, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at his home. He was born October 9, 1954 to Phillip and Kathlyn Hamilton Hale in Daviess County. He enjoyed being outdoors and working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Edward Hale, on February 26, 1987.

Survivors include his wife, JoNell Hale of Owensboro; his mother, Kathlyn Hale of Owensboro; his children, Joseph Anthony (Tony) Hale of Indiana, Christopher Douglas Thurby and Allen Wayne Davis Hale, both of Owensboro, Tiffany Rose Thurby, Amber Michelle Thurby and Stephanie Hale Anderson, all of Owensboro; 29 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; his brothers, James Eugene Hale and David Allen Hale, both of Owensboro, his sisters, Helen Louise Brown of Beaver Dam, and Martha Faye Slaton of Cannelton, IN; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 AM Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial in Bells Run Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday and after 8:30 AM Monday at the funeral home.
