Thomas Beverly Foster, 89, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday February 28, 2009 at Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born September 29, 1919 in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Polk Lafoon and Lou Hester Adams Foster. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and retired from farming in 1982. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II having served in the 82nd Field Artillery of the 1st Calvary Division. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Delbert Foster and Edward Foster.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Jean Fulkerson Foster, two sons and their wives, Tom and Rosemary Foster of Owensboro and Tony and Carla Foster of Evansville, two grandsons, David Foster of Pelham, AL and Mike Foster of Evansville, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday March 2 at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 1:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday and after 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
