Thomas H. Brandon was welcomed by the Lord on October 15, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born on November 16, 1944, in Paducah, KY to the late Cliff and Eileen Brandon. He was also predeceased in death by his wife, Violet, of 48 years; and his brother, Cliff Brandon Jr. of Owensboro, KY.
Survivors include stepdaughter, Jane (Larry) Aldridge; siblings, Margaret Ann (John) Merjavy of St. Louis, MO, Betty (Gus) Legeay of Indianapolis, IN., Bobby (Kelly) Brandon, of Paducah KY., Marilyn (Bill) Turner of Decatur, Al; and sister-in law, Judy Brandon of Owensboro, KY. Tom was blessed with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Tom worked 28 years as a machinist foreman for TVA at the Paradise Plant. He loved all sports but especially the Kentucky Wildcats and St. Louis Cardinals. He was a devout Catholic and a member of Immaculate Parish. Tom inspired others with his kindness, generosity, infectious smile, humor, and the determination and courage shown as he fought many medical challenges. Tom was convinced that he would win the lottery and he won the biggest prize ever when he entered the gates of heaven.

The funeral Mass for Tom will be held at noon Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Immaculate Catholic Church with Father John Vaughan officiating. Burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:30 until 7 p.m., with prayers at 5:30 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Peace Mission, the Heartford House Hospice or Immaculate Parish.
