Theresa Tommie Haynes, 81, of 822 East Third Street, Owensboro, died Thursday, November 15, 2001 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on December 23, 1919 she was the daughter of George Lawrence and Arlean Mattingly Haynes.
She was retired from General Electric after 30 years of service. She was a member of Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include a sister, Margaret Tillie Smith of Owensboro; two nephews; and two nieces.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Father Tony Bickett. Burial will follow in St. William Catholic Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
