Theresa Elizabeth Brown

Theresa Elizabeth Baptiste Brown, 78, of Lexington, Ky. passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington. She was born on October 1, 1931 in Bermuda to the late Joseph E. and Jessie Moura Baptiste. She was of the Catholic faith, enjoyed knitting for her grandchildren, flower gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family,especially her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kentrill Harris Brown on July 31, 2008.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Edward Brown and wife Linda of Owensboro and Charles Brown and wife Marilyn Sue of Whitesville, two daughters, Lynn Kenady and husband Dan of Lexington and Barbara Brown of Beaver Dam, 12 grandchildren, Kerensa (Chris) Pate, Krestien (Elizabeth) Brown, Kim (John) Helmuth, Heather (Chris) Campbell, Taylor Phillips, Brandon (Shawna) Brown, Jeff Brown, Natalie (Dennis) Wilhelm, Kevin Brown, Jeremy (Renae) Hall, Jared (Jonaka) Hall, Dustin (Desiree) Hall, 19 great grandchildren, Cale Pate, Cody Pate, Harrison and Kinsley Brown, Gray and Elizabeth Helmuth, Brier, Sophie, and Lola Campbell, Taylor, Gavin, and Raegan Brown, Gauge Wilhelm, Gracie and Karis Hall, Ayla and Brantley Hall, and Skylar and Ethan Hall, a brother, Raymond Baptiste of Bermuda, five sisters, Helen Leet, Lillian Pires, Marie Thompson, and Lorraine Whitney, all of Bermuda, and Jeanette DeSilva of Seattle, WA.

Services will be 12 Noon Thursday, August 12 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, Entombment will be in the Owenboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
