Thelma T. Carrico

Thelma Tucker Carrico, 86, of 1601 Creek Haven Loop, Owensboro, died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Wellington Parc. She was born August 8, 1923 to the late Samuel and Virda Payne Tucker in Daviess County. She was a member of Breckenridge United Methodist Church and had retired from City Hall after 28 years of service. She was a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed traveling and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carrico in 1973, two sons, Bruce in 1984, and Byron in 2004.

Survivors include her son, Robert Carrico and his wife, Janetta of Owensboro; one grandson, and one step-granddaughter; her brother, Bobby Tucker and his wife, Dorothy of Mt. Juliet, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, and after 8:30 AM Wednesday.
