Thelma Gordon Aud

Thelma S. Aud, 83, of 3000 Meadowland Drive, daughter of the late Gus & Rosie Mae Sharp, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at her home. She was born in Bells Run, Ky. and was retired from the Cashiers Dept. of Sears. She was a member of Seven Hills Baptist Church for 63 years where she had been a member of the Adult Choir for most of those years and was a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, rose gardening, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Aud in 1976.
Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, John Barry and Sharon Aud of Owensboro, 2 Granddaughters, Shannon and her husband Brian Knowles and Johnna Payne of Owensboro, a step grandson and his wife, Wayne and Theresa Wilson of Owensboro, 5 Great Grandchildren, Seth, Cade, & Elizabeth Knowles and Morgan & B.J. Payne, all of Owensboro, and 2 step great Grandchildren, Jonathan & Ashley Wilson, both of Owensboro, 3 Sisters, Opal Fields of Elgin, Ill., Dimple King of Owensboro, and Joyce Tichenor of College Park, Ga., and a sister-in-law, Virgie Sharp of Owensboro, and several nieces & nephews.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 31, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Donations may be made in her memory to Kentucky Baptist Home for Children, 10200 Linn Station Road, #200, Louisville, Ky. 40223-9964, Bells Run Baptist Church, or Audubon Church of the Nazarene, 15 Carter Road, Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
