Terry Wayne Smith

Terry Wayne Smith, 49, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 at his home. He was born on March 5, 1965 in Jefferson Co., KY. Terry had worked at K-Mart and M.P.D. and was attending Southside Wesleyan Church. He was a 1984 graduate of Owensboro High School and enjoyed rock and classic country music, watching horror movies, going to classic car shows, and hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin E. "Gene" Smith on February 22, 2012 and his sister, Sherry Lynn Barnett on May 16, 2013.

Surviving are his mother, Vena Joyce Smith of Owensboro, a son, Devon (Allison) Smith of Owensboro, a soon to be born grandchild, a daughter, Tori Michelle Smith of Owensboro, brother-in-law, Darrell Barnett of Owensboro, a niece, Brittany Barnett, a nephew, Austin (Maggie) Barnett, and a great niece, Gracie Barnett, all of Owensboro.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 9, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
