Terry Joe Powers

Terry Joe Powers, 40, of Nashville, TN formerly of Owensboro, KY, died Monday, November 5, 2001, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. He was born October 9, 1961 in Daviess County, Kentucky the son of Shirley Edward Powers and Lula Crutchfield Payne.

Mr. Powers was in the restaurant business, was a Baptist and enjoyed country music.

Survivors include his wife, Jody Powers; a son, Terry Joe T. J. Powers of Nashville; his mother, Lula Payne of Owensboro; maternal grandmother, Nina Crutchfield of Owensboro; a brother, Barry Powers of Owensboro; three sisters, Annetta Francis and Cynthia Moffett, both of Owensboro, and Jeanette Powers of Paducah; and four nephews and two nieces.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2001 at Cloverport Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Garswa Matally. His family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home after 10:00 a.m. Friday.
