Terry L. Craig, 65, of Owensboro left in the arms of Jesus, surrounded by family and friends, Sunday October 4, 2015 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was born in Vincennes, Indiana to the late Charles and Frances Craig. Terry was then raised in Oblong, IL where he graduated from high school. He later graduated from Vincennes University and was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Terry retired from Marathon Oil in 2010 after more than 34 years of service. He was a forty year 32nd Degree Mason, regularly attended Christ Community Church and was also a member of Owensboro Christian Church. Terry had passion for collector cars, particularly Corvettes. He also enjoyed U.K. Basketball, hunting, fishing and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Petty Officer Jared A. Craig in 2013; and an infant brother, John Charles Craig.
Terry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Sackrider Craig; a daughter, Tara Garrison (Brad) of Philpot, KY; a son, Damon Craig (Samantha) of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Maddy and Cece Craig, Kaylee and Collin Garrison; several cousins; nieces; nephews; sisters-in-law, Marie Miller (Robert) of Fairfield Glade, TN, Louise Newbold of Oblong, IL and Doris Tracy (Keith) of Robinson, IL; and a brother-in-law, Larry Sackrider (Charlotte) of Oblong, IL.
The funeral service will be at 2 PM, Friday October 9 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
Myke Templeton will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday after 12 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children 1900 Richmond Rd. Lexington, KY 40502-1204.
