Terrel B. Cornelius

Terrel Bryant ''Terry'' Cornelilus, 64, of 3101 Veach Road, Owensboro, died Thursday, September 14, 2001, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

The owner of Terry Cornelius Bookkeeping, he was a member of Seven Hills Baptist Church in Owensboro. For sixteen years he has been an officer in the Kentucky Army National Guard, having served as Company of Commander of B Company (Henderson, KY) and Headquarters Company (Owensboro, KY) of the 2nd Batallion of the 123rd Armor Division. Mr. Cornelius was an owner of thoroughbred race horses and loved horses and racing. He was a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his daughter, Dana Sandlin, of Louisville, his mother, Beatrice Cornelius of Owensboro, his fiance', Jean Kelly of Owensboro, three brothers, Boyce Cornelius and Roger Cornelius of Owensboro, and Richard Cornelius of Louisville, and a sister, Barbara Jean Bullington of Owensboro, and one granddaughter.

Funeral services are at 2:30 P.M. Monday, September 17, 2001, in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home. Friends may call from noon until 8 P.M. Sunday, and from 10 A.M. until 2:30 P.M. Monday.
