Teresa Bullington Rice

Teresa Bullington Rice, 82, of Owensboro (Reed), passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025 at her home. She was born August 24, 1943 in Daviess County to the late Edward and Theresa Elizabeth Morris Bullington. Teresa was retired after 33 years from General Electric. She is now reunited with the love of her life, her husband Bobby who passed away in 2013. Teresa loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and going on vacations to the beach and to the mountains. She also loved raising her garden and canning the many vegetables that she grew. Teresa enjoyed going deer hunting with her husband Bobby especially every year on their anniversary.

Teresa was also preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Hicks in 2009, and six brothers and sister, Gary, Jimmy, Walter, Johnny, and Bobby Bullington and Shirley Cassidy Bennett.

Surviving are three children, Stacey Blincoe (Lawrence) of Versailles, Dolores “Dori” Harrison (Rob) of Reed, and Dwayne Rice (Peggy) of Owensboro; nine grandchildren, Charles Blincoe (Bethany) of Lexington, Jeremy Blincoe (Kelsey) of Georgetown, Amber Westerfield (John) of Stanley, Emily Harrison (Michael Ward) of Owensboro, Courtney Najdek of Asheville, N.C., Travis Hicks (Bettie) of Evansville, Brittany Weems of Atlanta, GA, Brandy Miles of Owensboro, and Robert Rice (Sarah) of Cynthiana; 17 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; a sister and two brothers, Margaret Johnson, Billy Martin Bullington, and Eddie Bullington, all of Owensboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Noon Monday, November 3, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro. Barry Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 PM until 6 PM Sunday and from 10 AM until the time of the service Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
