Terence "Terry" Christopher Lee, 38, passed from this life Thursday, October 10, 2024. He was born March 21, 1986 in Owensboro, KY.
As a boy, he worked alongside Mike Blake from Channel 14 as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Terry almost completed a bachelor's degree in psychology.
If you never met Terry Lee, you missed out on a kind person who always had a patient ear and a shoulder to cry on. He helped the family with any computer or technology problems we had and was a joy to talk with. Terry wanted to give good advice to his online friends if they had problems. He was a light. Always has been.
He remained so sweet and positive over the years despite his onslaught of ailments. Terry rarely, if ever complained. He was so smart, funny and kind. As his health grew slowly worse we have been saying goodbye for several years. We are going to miss him so much.
He was preceded in death by his aunts, Donna Hornavich, Susan Delwiche and Martha DeLacey.
He is survived by his parents, Delbert D. and Mary DeLacey Lee; his sisters, Tracey and Christy Lee ; a nephew Finn Howard; uncles, Bill DeLacey, Charles (Kim) DeLacey, Rhody Hornovich, Reg Delwiche, Jaime (Susan) Lee; aunts, Betty (Larry) Coleman and Susie (Bruce) Kunze; and his cousins, Ellen Hathaway, David DeLacey, Charles H. DeLacey, Jon DeLacey, Kerry DeLacey, Brian Coleman, Jessica Coleman, Nathan Kunze, Erin Kunze Rush, Nick DeLacey, Zoe King, Simone Thomas, Bridgett Lee, Devan Lee, Maura Lee-Stonier and Brian Lee.
The funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 17 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service. The burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
