Mrs. Suzann "Sue" Michelle Bell-Johnson, 44, of Owensboro passed away suddenly Wednesday, June 21 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. Mrs. Bell-Johnson was born November 17, 1972 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Jimmie and Mary Hooper Bell. Sue had graduated with two associate degrees and been accepted into Western Kentucky University. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren which caused her to be known as a "vocal" soccer mom. Sue showed kindness and compassion to children when she taught Sunday School and when she worked with seniors and the Meals-On-Wheels program. She loved to shop, bake, and sing loudly in the car, and enjoyed a cold Pepsi on ice from Hucks.
Mrs. Bell-Johnson was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Emmalynn Adkins in April of this year.
Those left to cherish her memory include her best friend and husband, Todd Johnson; daughters, Leeanna Bell Adkins and husband Tyler, Alishia Johnson and fiancé Zach Young; son, Scott Johnson; grandchildren, Maci and Mason Adkins; parents, Jimmie and Mary Bell; sisters, Rene' Bailey and husband Mark, Sharon Fulkerson and partner, Larry Dunkin; brother, Michael Bell; numerous family and friends.
The service will be 4:00 PM Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Bishop Michael Decker officiating. Visitation will be from noon till 4:00 PM.
