Susan Elizabeth Evans

Susan Elizabeth Evans, 55, passed away Tuesday May 30, 2017 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Owensboro on July 14, 1961 to the late William and Betty Lambert Glenn. Susan worked at Omico Plastics for 16 years and K.B.'s Kid Zone for 6 years, where she touched many children's lives.

She loved to read, relax and listen to music, and traveling to the beach in Florida. Susan enjoyed Christmas time and was well known for her Christmas parties and gifts. Most of all, she loved her family and caring for her grandkids.

Susan was preceded in death by two brothers, Pat Glenn and infant Michael Glenn.

Those left here to cherish her memory are her husband of 20 years, Rick Evans; daughters, Danielle Nelson, Ally Evans, and Amy Wimsatt all of Owensboro; a son, Andy Evans; like a daughter, Angela Glenn; like a son, Scott Wimsatt; 14 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Susan was also survived by her sisters, Mary Morris and Kathy Edge; and brothers, Bill, Andy, Tom, David, and Jeff Glenn.

The funeral service will be 12 pm Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pete Coble officiating. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 2 till 7 pm, and Saturday 10 till 12 pm at the funeral home.
