Susan Wimsatt Davis

Susan Genevieve Wimsatt Davis, 89, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Bon Harbor Nursing Home. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and had retired from General Electric after 44 years. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan A. Davis, her parents, Clarence E. and Blanche Molohon Wimsatt and her brothers, Alfred E. Wimsatt, Joseph L. Wimsatt, Clarence E. Wimsatt, James E. Wimsatt, William A. Wimsatt and Bernard J. Wimsatt.

Survivors include her children, Angela C. Wilhite of Owensboro, David C. Davis of Owensboro, and Alicia M. Burns and her husband Robert of Nashville, TN; her granddaughters, Sarah Wilhite, Emily Wilhite, and Shannon Burns; and her brothers, James E. Wimsatt and his wife Beverly of Dayton, OH and Anthony E. Wimsatt and his wife Cecilia of Jeffersonville, IN.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prayers will be said on Monday evening at 7 p.m.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
